There is year round general club play, any time, any day or evening. Matches and coaching take priority but all "unused" courts are available for members' use. The main season starts with match practice for anyone interested in playing for the mens', ladies or mixed teams. Match practice finishes after the first league match, usually the first week in May.

Derbyshire league matches for the three men's teams, three ladies teams and two mixed teams generally run from May to July. Match nights for most home matches are Monday, Wednesday or Thursday, with matches occupying three artificial grass courts. The other courts are available for general play as normal.
